Pretend Play: Restaurant

May I take your order? Playing restaurant is so much fun! Make your own box of props for restaurant play:

• tablecloth or piece of fabric
• aprons for waiters, waitresses, and chefs
• play dishes, paper plates/cups, etc.
• napkins
• play food
• menus (take-out menus from restaurants or make your own!)
• plastic vase with fake flowers
• order tablet or small notepad
• trays for serving
• play money & cash register (or make your own out of a box)

Don’t forget to name your restaurant and make a sign too!

Possible characters: customer, waiter/waitress, host, chef or cook, dish washer
