What a fun idea! I like how the girls made you promise not to have them try “yucky” foods. Too funny! That cookbook sounds really interesting too. Let us know how those brownies turn out!

Yum!
When I taught high school psychology I had my students do this, but half of them also had to pinch their nose as they ate. Made it *much* harder to differentiate foods with similar textures since so much of our sense of “taste” is actually determined by the smell of the foods. Neat to see how our senses are interlinked.

This looks great! I was just reading at Scribbit that they do family taste tests, but where they compare different varieties of, for example, vanilla ice cream. I’d also love to try your style of taste test with my kids!

I love that idea! Maybe my pickiest kid would like more things if he didn’t judge them so much before tasting.
