When I taught high school psychology I had my students do this, but half of them also had to pinch their nose as they ate. Made it *much* harder to differentiate foods with similar textures since so much of our sense of "taste" is actually determined by the smell of the foods. Neat to see how our senses are interlinked. Yum!
