We made turkeys instead of scarecrows, and it turned into a fun morning activity! Thanks for the suggestion! Now he's at preschool & the baby is napping - so I'm making felt snowmen for a winter version! One spinner tip for 'thrilled by the thought' ~ We used a brass paper fastener and a paper clip for our spinner. That was recommended in a math curriculum that I used with second graders.
