Nutrition Fun for Kids

by Amy on March 5, 2009

March is National Nutrition Month! This is a great time to spend some extra time cooking healthy foods with your little ones. One of our plans for the month of March is to choose a new fruit or vegetable from the grocery store each week and try it – Natalie has had her eye on starfruit, and Delaney saw purple broccoli at Whole Foods last week. Fun!

Here are some of my past posts about nutrition and cooking with preschoolers:

Roll-a-Snack

We’ve got a few more healthy eating activities coming up this month — stay tuned! :)

I am running a postcard swap on my blog this month, the idea is to send 5 postcards and receive 5 from all over the world with a kid friendly snack from the country the postcard is from. I did this last year and got lots of great new recipes to try with my little chef.
If you are interested all the info is here
