Why didn’t anyone tell me that losing her first top tooth would make my sweet girl look so grown-up?
She lost the tooth during our camping trip, which she thought was amazing and awesome! I think she is amazing and awesome and growing up just a bit too fast for me. This parenting thing is full of such bittersweet moments, isn’t it?

Oh my! I don’t look forward to such milestones. I still cherish that minuscule bit of baby fat around my 4-year-old’s wrists and chin (and that’s only if he’s leaning a certain way-LOL).

Another milestone where you see your baby growing up. Sometimes you wish you could just hit the pause button, but, you also know that the next chapter is going to also be full of excting and wonderful adventures.
My oldest baby is almost six, and has no loose teeth yet. I’m definitely not in a hurry for it to happen! Then she’ll have big gaps, and then big teeth on a small face, and I will miss those last signs of her baby-ness. But I guess there’s no stopping it! Your girl is such a cutie and I’m glad you had a great day with her.
I know, it is cool to see them so excited and sad for us to see things changing. I’ve had a lot of those moments lately; taking off the training wheels, watching them jump into the pool with no swimmies, seeing my little two year old coming down the steps dressed–his shirt was on backwards, but still–why do they have to be in a rush to grow up?
