Happy Monday!  Hope you enjoy this week’s collection of goodies!

Quote of the Week

Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.

Creative Products:

Glitter Liquid Watercolor 8 oz.

I needed to replenish our liquid watercolor supply and included some of these Glitter Liquid Watercolors in our order. Sparkly paintings coming soon!

Quick Pix Animals Card Game was a favorite of my 2nd graders. I recently pulled out my very-worn set and have been teaching the girls to play. Delaney also likes playing with the cards on her own, sorting the animals by type. Very fun!

What We’re Reading:

I gave this book to my girls, and they have been reading it cover to cover like a really good story!  Judging by all the pages they have marked with sticky notes, I think it is going to be a very crafty week for us… :)

We have cooked from (and loved) Mollie Katzen’s cookbooks geared toward preschoolers (and up), Pretend Soup and Salad People.  I think Natalie is ready to “graduate” to Honest Pretzels (geared for ages 8+).  As far as I’m concerned, her cookbooks are THE best for kids!

Have a great week!

Thanks for the link – I’m so happy to find this site – there are so many fun ideas. I’ve already put the pretzel book on hold at the library :)

We loved Pretend Soup! We’ll have to check out Honest Pretzels, too. Also, I just ordered the Quick Pix Animal game for my first grader as we’re studying life science right now. Glad to hear it was such a hit!
