Crayon Play

by Amy on March 10, 2010

Here’s a super-simple creativity boost for your kids today!  Make ordinary crayons a little more interesting by bundling them together.

Crayons + rubberband:

Crayons + tape:

Set out a variety of crayon bundles and a stack of paper and see if your kiddos are inspired to play!  Keep the rubberbands and tape handy, because my girls are always wanting to make their own custom crayon bundles after seeing mine… :)

Happy Playing!

I’ve bundled crayons, but never side by side in a row like that – very good idea!

What a great simple idea. I’m about to go on a long flight with two kids and I’m definitely going to be using this idea.

I love this! What a simple idea. I’m sure my toddler could do this for hours. I’m starting a new MckLinky party called TOT TUESDAYS next week. I’d love it if you’d stop by & share your ideas. Here’s the information & my new buttons: http://delicious-ambiguity-nennyk.blogspot.com/2010/03/new-buttons-party.html Cheers, Jenn

Fun idea! My daughter already loves coloring with multiple markers/crayons – but I never thought of rubber-banding or taping them together.
