The girls have loved learning about the human body – even I have learned a lot of new things!
The science kit we used (Magic School Bus: A Journey into the Human Body) came with a large poster featuring a kid-size human body, along with body part stickers to add to the poster as we worked through the experiments. The girls wanted to make their own human body posters, so I used the stickers from the kit to make tracers for them.
They traced the organs, muscles, and bones onto colored construction paper and cut them out. They wrote labels on each piece and taped the parts to their bodies.
Here’s a close-up look at their life-size human bodies:
This was a really fun project – I highly recommend it!
I was very thankful I had the stickers from our science kit to trace. I’m pretty sure my free-handing would not have looked as nice! I scanned in my tracers so you can print and use them to make your own human body posters, if you like.

Wow, thanks for the files! We are lapbooking frogs right now, but I have human body on our list, so this will be a great resource. Thanks!
Thank you!!
Thank you so much for these! I was just thinking about doing something like this. We’re coming up on human body too. Great timing! Thanks for sharing. :)
My four year old is OBSESSED with “the human body,” as she always calls it, and she would love this. I’ll definitely put this on my list of things to do with her.
