Pack, Clean, Repeat…

by Amy on May 28, 2010

Hello!  It’s moving weekend for us, which means I’m up to my eyeballs in boxes and mess.  I’ll be busy painting and cleaning and trying to entertain the girls with whatever random things haven’t been tucked away in boxes yet.

Before we started packing, I encouraged the girls to take pictures of their rooms (and other favorite parts of the house).  I’m planning to help them make a little scrapbook of memories from this house – they both came home from the hospital to this house and this is their first move!  Bittersweet for sure…

If you have seen any cute or unique ideas for “We’ve Moved” announcements, send them my way – I need some inspiration!

Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!

Oh! Those floral alphabet cards are beautiful, and the pegs for the fairy outfist/dress ups are great too, I should get them for the gazillion fairy dresses Princess has (easier to hang and add colour and girlish whimsy to the room!)

Hi Anna,

The flower alphabet cards are made by eeBoo – they are called Fairies of the Garden Wall Cards. I bought mine at a local toy store, but Genius Babies usually has them in their online store: http://www.geniusbabies.com

I like the blue chair at the desk. Where did you get that? Great rooms. I am sure your kids will miss them.

Inquiring minds want to know, just how did you get the alphabet cards to be so straight? Did you actually use the clothespins to hang, or are they pinned to the wall? They look great and I’m thinking about doing the same with my own cards. Thanks for sharing!
