Turkey Doodles

My girls love those doodle-style coloring books (like these) so I thought they would enjoy making some turkey doodles for Thanksgiving. I made simple turkey body tracers and drew turkeys all over some pieces of white drawing paper.

Then, the girls got busy adding eyes, beaks, feathers, and all sorts of other details. They were quite creative in their turkey creations! Do you see the western turkey?

I made a bunch of placemat-size turkey doodles (12×18″ construction paper) for Thanksgiving Day – the girls and their cousins can doodle away while waiting for dinner to be ready.

It would be fun to make lots of turkeys on a big piece of paper, too – everyone could join in to make one big turkey doodle mural!

Happy doodling!
