homemade valentines

Today, we will:

•eat heart-shaped toast with strawberry jam

•tell each other valentine knock-knock jokes

•paint big paper hearts

•learn how to play the card game Hearts

•do a valentine mad-lib

•read and reread our stack of valentine books

•eat our traditional valentine’s day dinner – waffles with strawberries & whipped cream

•give extra hugs & kisses all day long!

Hope you have a sweet Valentine’s Day!

Hearts was one of the first “big kid” card games I remember learning – and still one of my favorites! I can’t wait to teach my daughter to play, we’ve got a few years left until she’s ready though!
