Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of talk about making Valentine cards, but not much action. A quick look at the calendar today sent both my girls into a Valentine-making frenzy!
I had a pretty good feeling that Natalie would want fairies to be involved with her Valentines – she is all about the fairies right now! Together, we planned out these simple, but adorable, fairy valentines using things we had around the house.
We used:
- pink construction paper (cut in half)
- tracing paper for the wings
- heart doilies (small) for the skirt
- shiny red hearts or red puffy stickers for the top
- glue stick
I was the designated wing-cutter, but Natalie did everything else herself. All the details were added with a black pen. I love how Natalie gave each fairy a different hairstyle! She ended up coloring in their hair with crayons, too.
“Happy Valentine’s Day” was added with a rubber stamp, and she wrote her to/from on the back of each card. If you have a fairy-lover in your house, you might want to try making a Valentine fairy!
We usually have waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for our Valentine’s Day dinner. Do you have any fun Valentine’s Day meals or traditions?
Very cute! And very cute idea to have waffles with strawberries for dinner on V Day! Easy, but lovey themed.
Totally and absolutely gloriously cute!!! When I show my little Valentine nut these in the morning she is going to get stuck in straight away!!! Love them!!!
Those are super cute, good job! Karen

What a fab idea! I have 2 little girls who would love to make these. Unfortunately, we can’t get heart shaped doilies, but we can improvise! Thanks for sharing. xo
I’m sure you and your girls will make some super-cute fairies – Happy Valentine’s Day! :)
