What We’re Reading
Delaney is zooming through her reading log for the library’s summer reading program. This is her first year being a reader instead of a listener and she is loving it!
Here are a few favorite picks from her reading log:
Freckleface Strawberry by Julianne Moore
If You Give a Pig a Party by Laura Numeroff
How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? by Jane Yolen
Today I Will Fly! by Mo Willems
The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear by Audrey & Don Wood
Creative Products
Sprinkler play, sunscreen, bug spray, and little sweaty bodies mean lots of summer-time baths for my girls. Here are a few finds from Etsy to make bath time even more fun!

We have loved most of those books from Delaney’s reading log, too (haven’t read Freckleface Strawberry yet). We actually have a compilation book of “If You Give A Mouse a Cookie” plus “If You Give a Pig a Pancake,” “If You Give a Moose a Muffin,” and “If You Take a Mouse to School” that also includes activities, recipes and music sheets for the silly songs on the accompanying CD. Fun!
That compilation book sounds great – we love all of Laura Numeroff’s books!
Woohoo! Thank you for sharing Happy Home Fairy with your wonderful readers!!
My pleasure – love your blog!
