Happy first day of June! We are ready for summer days – eating breakfast outside, ice cold lemonade, and backyard campouts. How are your summer plans shaping up?

It’s time for another monthly play idea sheet. I hope this gives you and your kids some ideas for the warm (or rainy) summer afternoons.

My 10 Ways to Play in June idea sheet is ready to download!

This month’s play ideas include simple activities suitable for long car rides, a fun way to play dress-up, and other ways to add a little spark to your everyday playtime. As usual, the focus is on simple, open-ended play activities that kids (and growns-ups!) of all ages can enjoy.

Download 10 Ways to Play in June.

You can download the past months’ idea sheets here.

Let’s play everyday!

We brainstormed some summer plans this weekend. Now if we can just get the weather to turn the corner away from a cold, wet spring, we’ll be ready.

We’re waiting for warmer weather, too – come on, sunshine!

Thank you so much for the Ways to Play download – I love it! It’s so helpful for my 6, 4 and 1-year-olds to have me interact with them…I keep the list on the fridge for easy reference on fuzzy mommy brain days!

Thanks! Love these. My daughter just grabbed it and is starting on it right now off the printer.

Playing hide-n-seek is my favorite thing to do with my kids! Thanks for sharing this idea at The Sunday Showcase!
