Coloring Fun with Black and White Photos

coloring black and white photos

Happy Monday! I’m over at Make and Takes today sharing a fun way to play with photos. We spent a good chunk of afternoon time looking through photos for the perfect ones, and then coloring!

From my post:

My girls have been shutterbugs this summer, taking photo after photo of flowers in the yard, dressed-up stuffed animals, and each other. Yay for digital photos!

We wanted to do a project with some of our summer photos, so I suggested adding our own touches of color to black and white photographs. We had so much fun – we’ll be having a repeat coloring session soon!

Happy playing!

This is such a fun idea! I love how you used the pictures for cards and tried different mediums, too! Trying this with my little guy soon! :)

This was the first project we did with Elli’s brand new box of colored pencils. We listened to a song called The Colored Pencil Factory while we created. So much fun. Thanks for the inspiration!
