Each issue of Playful Picks includes links to projects and articles, and sometimes a peek at what we’re currently reading or creative products we love. I’ll also be linking to one or two past posts at Let’s Explore – after 4+ years of blogging, the archives are getting deep around here!
Happy playing!

What We’re Reading
Here is a quick peek at the books on our nightstands right now:
Me: The Shoemaker’s Wife by Adriana Trigiani (loving it so far) and Project-Based Homeschooling by Lori Pickert (amazing, whether you homeschool or not)
Natalie (age 10): Twice Upon a Time by James Riley (it’s been declared even better than the first book, Half Upon a Time) and The Moffats by Eleanor Estes (a classic for a reason!)
Delaney (age 8): Waiting for the Magic by Patricia MacLachlan (this one is funny, sensitive, and just delightful) and Horse Diaries #5: Golden Sun by Whitney Sanderson (as Delaney says, books about horses are awesome!)
What books are in your kids’ hands right now?
“Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.”
~Henry Ward Beecher
